National Car Rental

I have been traveling for 25 plus years. There is no place more pleasant than the Oklahoma City location. The entire team is so kind and efficient. However, they have an employee that just seems to always give excellent customer service that is above and beyond. Renee always remembers my name and even when I don't find the car I wanted she will take the time to point it out to me and make sure I get what I want. Thanks to the entire team and especially to Renee, for the stress-free experience each and every time.

National at the Will Rogers World Airport has excellent customer service! Their team is welcoming, fast, and completely professional. The cars are well-maintained and clean. I have rented several cars with a funky smell. I can't tell if their deodorizer is the culprit or if they are trying to cover odors that can't be removed. I highly recommend National!

Although stock was low when I arrived to pick up my rental, a freshly washed SUV showed up just as I was walking onto the lot. The customer service agent told me I could take that car if I wanted. It was perfect as I was hoping for an SUV as opposed to a sedan. No issues with the car during my rental days. The check in process was longer than check out but part of the reason for this was that I arrived to the lot during lunch and there was only one CS agent. No worries though all worked out and it was a great experience.

Been here thrice. First was no wait and usual availability. Second time there was a wait, even for those who are allowed to bypass the desk, because there were no available cars. Probably the late hour. Third time was also a late hour but cars were getting pulled from anywhere, even luxury models. Found an xDrive50e with less than 700 miles. Maybe the late hour is better now.

Reserved a minivan in OKC a week ago and got to the outside counter at 12:15am. I called ahead. There were 2 ladies working for 12 customers and had no cars ready. One lady had to run to the cleaning station and clean a car, then drive it to the pickup area, then walk over to the check out gate and check the car out. The other lady had to remain in the office. So although both ladies were very nice and apologized and tried to help as fast as possible, it was about an hour wait. We ended up getting a compact SUV instead of the minivan and were told because the minivan was returned with a flat tire. The compact suv I drove off in had PM written on the window. I didn’t know what that meant until we returned it 2 days later and were told wow this shouldn’t have been rented. PM stands for perform maintenance I believe. Our tire was flat within a day of leaving the airport and we filled it up. Lots to unpack here, but the ladies did their best in a situation National had put them in.

Renting the car was hassle free like always. Did have an issue with the first rental. Left OKC heading to Dallas and car kept cutting out as if it had no fuel. Car actually died on me once I made it to Dallas about a mile from the National at the airport. Luckily it started back up and was able to swap it out. When I returned the second rental to OKC after my trip I was great by I believe Brian who was friendly, amazing attitude and created a pleasant atmosphere.
